D03: Broad Leaved Hawthorn: Crataegus persimilis prunifolia

This is native to the United States and Canada around the Great Lakes and was first introduced in 1791. It has only recently appeared in the wild. It has characteristic Hawthorn clusters of white flowers and red fruits, but the leaves are glossy and oval and the autumn colour can be good.
