E06: Corsican Pine: Pinus nigra maritima

A ubiquitous pine tree capable of growing under most soil conditions, it was introduced from Southern Italy in 1759 and can grow to over 30 m. The leaves are in slender lax pairs the cone is ovoid pointed and 5-8 cm long.
