B01: Weeping Cherry, Prunus subhirtella pendula

A low spreading cherry forming a pendulous hummock, it is spectacular in spring covered in white flowers. It was introduced from Japan in 1862 and is grafted onto the non pendulous stock. This specimen dies back after flowering but seems to recover during the summer
